Saturday I walked over to the CELT Outdoor Classroom, where Michael and many other Cape residents have been volunteering during their free time. The minute I stepped on-site, Daisy came running up to me and immediately rolled over, inviting me to start scratching her. Although it was misting and a little chilly, I couldn’t tear myself away from giving her a belly-rub… luckily I got to resume the scratches and belly-rubs earlier this week, when I visited Daisy and the other Gent family members at their home in Cape Elizabeth.

Daisy’s next-door neighbor (and buddy!) – Cooper – joined us for an afternoon of playing. Cooper and Daisy are such good friends, that their parents have joined their electric fences, and the dogs regularly float back and forth into each others’ home. In fact, as we were leaving the Gents’ home, Cooper’s parents called to check on him! Too much fun!

Thank you, Gent family, for having me over this week! Michael and I had a ball watching Daisy and Cooper pal around, and we both fell in love with Daisy’s sweet and loving personality.
