Sam comes to work with his parents, Tyler Briggs and Jim McGinley, at Corduroy Surf Boutique and Gallery in Portland’s Old Port nearly everyday.  Around nine years old, Sam is perfectly content with spending his days lying on the ground of Corduroy, at the base of brightly colored surfboards.  Sam has completely mastered the art of getting a new friend to scratch him and not stop.  Trust me, I know!

If you walk by on Market Street, you might see Sam, as he watches you from the window!

If you’re ever in the Old Port, stop by Corduroy to meet this big giant teddy bear of a dog.  Once you meet him, you will be suckered into staying as long as you can, scratching and rubbing him.
