laurel

While Michael, Orvis and I were visiting family in North Carolina I was able to schedule a few dog shoots in the area.  Laurel, the boxer, was my first one!  I met Laurel, Rachel and Dave at Wilson Park in Carrboro the day after we made the 16-hour trip down south.  When I knelt down to greet Laurel for the first time, I was quickly received by a great big kiss- oh, I was in love!  When Rachel and Dave told me that she typically runs with them and that she has even made it 20 miles, I was even more smitten with my new friend (and did I mention totally impressed?!). 

Laurel was all set for the holidays with her jingle bell collar- how fun!

Thank you Rachel, Dave and Laurel- you guys are a lovely family!  I hope to see you guys the next time in NC.  Maybe if I train hard enough, I can join Laurel on one of her long runs . . .
