canine-alities!

While browsing the ASPCA website the other day, I came across their Canine-alities descriptions. In order to make the adoption process go smoothly, the ASPCA has developed an assessment that places each dog in a colored category: purple would be easy maintenance, orange would be average maintenance and green would be high maintenance.  From there, the dog is classified as being either, socially motivated, internally motivated or externally motivated. (The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland offers a great intro movie that explains the utility of the test quite well with fun graphics.)

I decided it might be fun to try and place the three dogs with whom I am closest: Rock, Mason and Orvis!

I think the Canine-alities profiles are great for the adoption process, but they’re also a fun way to think of your dog after you’ve had the chance to get to know every part of ?  See for yourself!
