rocky

While I was in North Carolina visiting my family this weekend I was excited to take some photos of my other “regulars,” Rocky and Mason!  Since he is a good listener (or maybe just a little more food motivated…), Mason was able to head downtown with me to take some photographs near the train station.  Rocky, on the other hand, only listens to one person- my step-father, Ed.  Not wanting to risk Rocky running around downtown Southern Pines, we set up a special session just for him, although we were interrupted by Mason quite a bit that afternoon.  He hasn’t quite grasped the concept that other dogs need love and attention too! 

Rocky is an incredibly sweet dog, who deserves some sort of award for always being the most patient dog in the family.  I cannot imagine being him and having to put up with crazy Orvis and Mason.  I’m so excited to be able to spend some time with him again this weekend when my family comes to help Michael and I paint the new studio.  This will be Rocky’s first-ever trip to Maine and his first experience in a substantial amount of snow- I cannot wait!
