owen!

When Owen’s mother, Dee-Dee, e-mailed me about photographing her sweet thirteen year old Sheltie-Lab mix, I was so excited!  She attached a picture of Owen in the e-mail and from his picture I could tell he was a big lovebug!  We met up at Ferry Beach in Scarborough on a chilly morning last week and had fun watching Owen get reacquainted with one of his favorite spots in all of Maine!

I loved the beautiful fall colors along the beach!

For being thirteen years old, Owen has such a spring in his step!  He acted more like he was thirteen months old!

We made sure to get some studio shots of Owen at the & unlimited studio.  That way, he could get some of his favorite biscuits at Scratch!  Owen is a true Red Sox fan!

Dee-Dee got Owen as a puppy when she was in grad school and they’ve been best friends since!  Her husband, who came into her life after Owen did, is named Owain, pronounced just like “Owen!” How funny is that?!

We enjoyed even more fall colors back at Owen’s house!

Thank you, Dee-Dee, for introducing me to your sweet Owen.  I had such a memorable morning watching him explore the beach and will never forget his slippery paws on the studio paper!  I hope you continue to indulge Owen’s love for Scratch biscuits and bring him by the studio.
