Can you imagine how fun your life would be if you lived with four yellow labs? Think of all the laughter, all the silliness, all the love you would be surrounded with each and every day. When their mother, Cheryl, e-mailed me about getting together for a session, I remember thinking, “FOUR? LABS? This would be a dream session!” On Saturday, as I drove out to Windham, this dream came true and I got a taste of what life with four yellow labs would be like.
Meet Zip, Deputy, Haley & Emily! At first I was so nervous that I would not be able to remember their names or tell them apart. It didn’t take long to realize how incredibly different four dogs of the same breed can be!

Deputy, 11, is the oldest of the bunch. Don’t let his age fool you, he’s still got a fun-loving, puppy spirit about him!

If you give Haley, 10, a tennis ball, she would be the happiest dog on the earth. If you continue to throw it for her, you’ll be her very best friend!

Emily, 6, loves to play! She’s always trying to get one of the other three to play with her, either by chasing them or stealing their toys!

Zip, 5, is definitely the puppy of the group. Like his sister, Emily, Zip loves to play, but he always makes sure to check back in with Cheryl. When he’s not happily playing in the yard, he’s napping quietly on his bed.

Again, can you imagine how much love you would have in your life if you were able to look at these four faces everyday?

Thank you, Cheryl, for having me out to photograph your four lovable labs! It was truly incredible to see how four dogs of such different personalities interact with one another, and with you, their mother! The next time Zip is itching for a ride, bring all of them to the studio for some doggie treats!
