ohio dogs: jake, huck, winston & sage!

While I was visiting my family in Ohio and taking pictures of Baby Kate & Kaden at the pumpkin patch, I also got to photograph four loving & adorable dogs!  How I wished I could transport Orvis there to play with all of his cousins- he would have had a blast.
This is sweet Jake.  While...

the pointer sisters!

A few weeks ago I received a wedding inquiry from a nice couple in Portland who knew I photographed both weddings & dogs.  Sarah, the bride, proceeded to tell me about her two German Shorthaired Pointers, who are affectionately referred to as “The Pointer Sisters.”  My heart skipped a beat.  I met up with The...

the pugs: ozzy & jenny!

Ozzy & Jenny’s mother, Brenda, won their session through the South Portland Dog Owner’s Group raffle earlier this summer.  When Crystal, the president of the dog owner’s group, informed me that the winner was the owner of two pugs, I nearly squealed with excitement!  I think every photographer should get the privilege of working with...

Dog owners everywhere know there is nothing more special than a place where dogs can run, play and swim with each other until they can no longer move.  Camp Yellow Dog is one of those special places!  I had the privilege of heading out to Camp Yellow Dog the other night, just down the road in...

daisy!

I was invited down to Saco this week to spend a lovely evening by the beach with Daisy and her humans, Jennifer & Gary.  Like all golden retrievers I’ve ever met, Daisy is a big time love-giver!  After our session, I came back home to my own pup, Orvis, and after smelling me for a...

scooby at willard beach & hinckley!

After volunteering with the South Portland Dog Owners Group, I was lucky to have the chance to meet up with Scooby for some photographs!  Scooby & his mother, Crystal, know everyone on Willard Beach, so it’s quite fun walking up and down the beach with them!
Since Scooby is quite popular on the beach, I think...

indy & avus at fort williams!

I met up with Indy & Avus, the two beautiful Belgian Sheepdogs, over the weekend at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth.  It was amazing to see just how active and agile these two are for being 12 & 9, respectively!

Indy loves her frisbee and always carries the Chuckit!

Avus is a tennis ball kind of guy!

Thank...
